1. Toy Museum

The Toy Museum is one of the most delightful museums where children can enjoy a pleasant time together with their families. It can be visited in any season, whether summer or winter. While adults revisit their childhood memories, children get the chance to discover the nostalgic toys their elders once played with. This museum offers its visitors both an entertaining and an emotional experience. Click here for the Toy Museum location

2. Antalya Ethnography Museum

This museum presents the daily life and ordinary lifestyles of past periods. Traditional clothing, jewelry, shoes, kitchen utensils, and household items from the era are on display, surprising and fascinating visitors. Thanks to the period reconstructions created with wax figures, walking through the museum feels like visiting a home from the past. Click here for the Antalya Ethnography Museum location.

3. Suna & İnan Kıraç Museum

Also used as the Mediterranean Civilizations Research Center of Koç University, this museum has a similar concept to the Antalya Ethnography Museum. The wax figure installations depict wedding ceremonies, henna nights, coffee culture, and family life. One of the most remarkable sections of the museum is the Aya Yorgi Church, located in the courtyard of the two-story mansion. The church hosts temporary exhibitions, and until May 31, 2026, the exhibition Reflections in the Byzantine World can be visited. I highly recommend seeing it. 4. Kaleiçi Houses

For me, this area is like an open-air museum. The historic two-story houses with courtyards, elegant architecture, and nostalgic streets captivate visitors. While strolling through these streets, it is impossible not to compare the aesthetic beauty of the past with the unattractive urban development of today.

5. Atatürk Museum

Atatürk Museum

Located very close to Karaalioğlu Park and Kaleiçi, this museum is the house where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed for one week during his visit to Antalya in 1930. It was converted into a museum in 1986 and displays Atatürk’s personal belongings. In the panoramic room, you can view photographs of Antalya from that period and examine coins used during the early years of the Republic.Click here for the Atatürk Museum location.

6. Bonus Walking Route

Bonus Walking Route

You can start your tour at Cumhuriyet Square and descend into Kaleiçi either by using the stairs on the far left near the tea gardens or by taking the elevator next to them. First, head down to Antalya Marina and visit the Toy Museum, then walk to the Ethnography Museum. While wandering through the streets of Kaleiçi, enjoy the architecture of the historic houses before reaching the Suna & İnan Kıraç Museum. You can complete your tour by visiting the Atatürk Museum. This walking route will take approximately 3–4 hours.
